Problem with my Strong 7402 decoder

Hello,
I bought a Strong 7402 decoder six months ago that has been causing me a lot of problems. From the beginning, even though it’s advertised as an HD decoder, it wasn't picking up HD channels. After several unsuccessful complaints, I resigned myself to watching TF1 on channel 51, France 2 on channel 52, etc.
Now, for the past week, if I turn it off and on again, it can't pick up any channels. I have gone through the entire setup again, and I just realized that when I go to the "channel settings" menu and switch to "satellite Astra 23.5" instead of "Astra 19.2," all my channels come back, including some foreign channels. As soon as I turn it off, I lose everything, and I have to repeat the same process. What could be the cause of this? I do not want to leave it on because it’s a TV that isn’t used often, and I find it gets very hot when left on for a long time. Thank you if you can advise me, as when I call customer service, all they keep telling me is that it’s an issue with my setup, even though everything works when I try it with another decoder.

On July 1, an update for the Canalsat and TNTsat channels took place for all Canal Ready TNTsat HD MPEG 4 terminals. The MPEG 2 SD devices need to be changed; see the forum under "renewal."
If it does not display the channels, it is not an antenna or reception issue, but an internal software problem or incorrect settings. Please consult Stong support...
Additionally, in HD, TF1 HD is on selection number 1; if it is on number 51, you need to go into the ranking menu and modify it.

Thank you for your response, but all of this is a bit unclear to me. I am quite elderly and I struggle a lot with all this equipment. I will call Strong support as you advised me. Thank you again.
