Connect PS3 to a laptop via HDMI

Hello, after checking many forums where lots of people contradict themselves and sometimes old ones, I was wondering if it is possible to connect my PS3 to my laptop and use my computer as a screen with an HDMI cable?

    No, the HDMI port on your laptop is an output, not an input.

    Hello,

    Simple answer: no.

    On your computer it is an output connector (OUT), but to be able to use something like a monitor you need an input connector (IN).

    Your graphics card does not allow receiving the signal to then send it to the screen.
