Program loss and TI 83+ calculator reset!!!

Hello, I have a big problem since this morning with my calculator (TI 83+)
So, after downloading symbolic and pretty print on it, I wanted to use a program but there’s a problem: they all disappeared!! I then tried to delete the two applications. When I attempted to delete symbolic, there was a major glitch and the screen got stuck, so I removed one battery and my calculator worked again without any issues, but now here’s my problem: I no longer have any programs and my calculator has switched to English!!! HELP (and in apps, I only have 1: Finance, this is nonsense!)

    Hello,
You will not be able to recover your programs unless you have archived them.
To restore the applications, you need to reset your calculator.

Hello and thank you for your response. If I reset my calculator, will I be able to recover my basic applications, I mean the French app in "apps"? Thank you in advance...

I'm not sure so I propose another solution:
      - Download TI Connect
      - Plug in your calculator and turn it on
      - Download French Localization here: https://education.ti.com/fr/software/details/fr/E2E24A53BEE543038B6A06EB3FFE60ED/83ti83plusoslanguagelocalization
      - Open TI Connect on your computer and click on TIDeviceExplorer
      - Now you will have a download from your computer to your calculator that will start automatically
      - On your calculator, press apps then 2. Your calculator will be reset to French.

If I completely reset my calculator, will the apps come back?
