      According to the notice, it's an obsolete pointer because DVB-S Mpeg 2 QPSK and all satellite TV will move to Mpeg 4, DVB-S2, 8 PSK starting July 1st, via Astra/Canalsat and April for Fransat (Eutelsat 5WA) and Tntsat.

      Sorry, bad choice, yet CCM has issued numerous warnings about this evolution of standards and even proposed a small selection of possible choices in the field of DVB-S2 pointers or analyzers.

        Of course, as long as there is at least 1 transponder with SD-Mpeg 2 channels. A pointer for stationary and portable TV (camper) is not necessarily essential since all satellite terminals and satellite TVs have a signal indicator with integrated bar graphs, relative quality %, and level %.

        (for your information, a DVB-S2 beep pointer costs around €70)
