I want to double the RAM of my computer to bring it to 8GB. I have done several fruitless searches on Google. The type of memory I need is unattainable. Is there a compatible memory with what is already installed on my PC? Do I have to replace everything? Does anyone have an idea about this? Thank you!

Hi
I don't see the problem
you can put whichever you want
PC-10600 (1333 Mhz) = 667 Mhz on CPU-Z
PC-12800 (1600 Mhz)
PC-14900 (1866 Mhz)
PC-16000 (2000 Mhz)
PC-17000 (2133 Mhz)
PC-19200 (2400 Mhz)
PC-21300 (2666 Mhz)
PC-22400 (2800 Mhz)
PC-23400 (2933 Mhz)

if you put PC 17000 with your PC 10600 sticks, the motherboard will run everything at the speed of the slowest memory.

I tried a Kingston PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) CL9 (KVR13N9S8/4) memory and it doesn't work on my PC, whether I install it alone or in combination with the one I already have. My computer simply won't boot, the screen stays black, black, black...

Have you looked in the BIOS?
Is your BIOS up to date?
Did you reset the BIOS to default settings before?
What is your motherboard?
