Hello,
Here is my problem: I've had my Samsung R620 for about 6 years now. For about a month, I've been having trouble turning it on. When I try to switch it on for the first time, the power light and keyboard turn on, but the screen does not. I have to leave it in this state to warm up for at least an hour before I have to turn it off and back on. After that, the screen turns on and the computer starts, but it shuts down after a few seconds. I have to repeat this process 3 or 4 times before it actually turns on, and when it does, it only stays on for a short hour before it crashes, and I have to start all over again. I’ve looked into it, and some say it could be the fan, but then taking this computer apart seems difficult given the number of screws on the back, while others think it has seen its time and that my motherboard is dead. Hoping someone can give me a solid answer, as I don't want to take it to a repair shop if it's just a fan problem. Thank you.
