My phone got wet, how can I recover the photos???

Don't panic, put your phone in a bowl of rice and wait at least 24 to 48 hours. Remove the battery, SIM card, etc........... . That's what happens when you don't want to back up, especially since nowadays everything can be done almost automatically.

Thank you for your help. I put my phone in rice; I hope it works while I recover my photos... I can't wait for the brand to create waterproof phones!! Next time, I will be much more careful.

the photos might be on a micro SD card and not on the phone.
check if you have that kind of card:

Anyway, I did a little research and here are the solutions available to you:

Your photos are saved on the SD card. So take it out and connect it to your computer. You should (normally and I hope) be able to find your photos.

Your photos are saved on the phone's memory. It's not looking good :/. Try removing the battery and putting your phone in rice (uncooked) (Yes, really! I found that on the internet! o.O). The rice will absorb the water present in the phone.

From what I understand, your photos were saved on your phone and not on a memory card...
If that's the case, given the situation, I think your phone is dead. However, you can still try putting it in 1 kg of rice. This will absorb the moisture from your phone. You should leave it in there for at least 3 days.
Try this trick to see if you can recover it.
If your phone doesn't turn on after those 3 days, I think there's not much you can do for it and it might be dangerous to connect it to a computer.
First, try the rice trick. And try to turn it on (without plugging it in) in 3 days. Come back to this discussion to let us know more.
