How to retrieve an attachment after replying to an email

Hello,

I replied to an email in Hotmail... but unfortunately, I can no longer see the attachment that was included in the email I responded to...

Can I recover it?...

    Hello, if the received message is still in your inbox, then your attachment is still saved. If you don't see an attachment, it means your correspondent forgot to send it.

      This is not the first time this has happened to me...As soon as I reply to an email, if the person had sent me something initially, I can no longer see it...I know it's there because I read it back then (it's from January), but there must be a function to keep attachments despite replies...that I unfortunately do not know about...

        However, attachments backups are automatic and unlimited over time on Hotmail, if you’ve been checking it regularly, so there’s no feature to activate.
        When you check your received message in Hotmail, don’t view it through the conversation and the different replies, you need to check the original message on the date you received it.
