Google Chrome in German

Hello,
I have downloaded Google Chrome several times and I still have the German version even though I initially set it to French.
The tools and the tabs are in German.
I have tried everything but nothing works!!!
How can I get the French version?

      This problem apparently affects many people living in Switzerland or Belgium.
      Try this to see if the link works after changing the language to French.

    Hello
    open the tools=>parameter scroll down the page to the bottom click on the small blue line and look for the sprache tab open it and click on
    French/französisch validate, restart Chrome
    regards.

      I can't say how I did it, but by tinkering, I managed to get the French version. So problem solved.

        Once installed, you cannot change the language in the settings.
