We can no longer see the "likes" from our close friends??!!!!

I added friends that I particularly follow on Facebook as "close friends," and it's not just the spies, but until now, when they liked a public post from their friends or a Facebook page, I would see it when I clicked on close friends, I would see "x likes this," "y likes this," etc. But now, for a few days, even though I haven't changed any settings, I can no longer see these likes... Do you know if this is normal? Is Facebook doing something ELSE again?
I can see it in the telex but only if I'm logged in at the moment when people like it, otherwise, no!!
