How to use drives (:C) and (:D)?

Hello,

The question is simple:
My C: drive is filled to 277GB / 371GB and my D: drive is completely empty (537GB).
I would like to know if redistributing the data could make my PC faster and what the difference is between these two drives, if there is one.

Hi

You should have been careful before installing something, put it on D not let it go on C...

Now all that's left is to uninstall and reinstall on D...

And is there a difference between these two drives? A speed difference, for example?

Yeah, the C: is just right for Windows and the D: to accommodate storage... Here, to help you, I'm sure your C: is going to get slimmer:

As I said last night, someone deleted my response; since D does not touch C and there are 2 recovery partitions between the two, we cannot do what I suggested.

Hello, since D is empty, delete it and enlarge C.
Put a picture of disk management.

I don't see any particular problems; you probably have never changed the size of partitions.

lol if you only knew... Luckily for me, I do know... But if we're partitioning a disk, it's to not lose everything... So we move it and that's it.

Not "lol"... Djo La Force is completely right!!!

If we create partitions, it's not to lose everything in case of a factory reset/reinstallation when everything on C: gets wiped...

Enlarging C: is just a big mistake; we move the Libraries (Documents, Music, Videos, etc.) to D: which allows us not to touch them if we have an OS problem.
