Hello,
I have a version 13 of Architecte Expert cad 3D with a CD-ROM and a version 14 purchased as a download, with an activation key from July 2013. Recently, I encountered an issue because upon launching, one of the features was not loading ("advanced tools"). I ran "repair" in the control panel using the .exe file from the download but to no avail. Ultimately, I had to uninstall and reinstall the software twice. On the first launch, everything went smoothly and I had the functionality that had disappeared. However, since then, upon launching, I am asked for the activation key. After entering it, I am informed that the maximum number of activations has been exceeded. I am being asked to either purchase a key or use the demo version.
I have of course contacted Microapplication, the seller of the software, who states that the warranty (maintenance) is for 1 year, so my version is out of warranty. They offered me an upgrade, but in reality, there is none available!
Can you help me resolve this issue, compounded by the fact that I don't have much computer skills?

I've had similar problems with Microapplication before, and basically, I received a somewhat similar response, politely but with an attitude of "deal with it."
The support has nothing to do with the license, but they don't care.
Personally, I managed to change their mind by explaining to them, in writing, politely but firmly, that THEIR problem and their survival were largely due to piracy.
That I was making the effort to pay to PURCHASE the programs legally and thus keep them alive.
But that if they refused to help their paying customers, no problem, I would do like everyone else and stop buying anything at all and start pirating like everyone else, which isn't complicated.
At least if I had problems, it would be free and I would know why I wasn't getting support. It's up to them to make the choice.
After 2 days, apparently my argument had worked, and I received the support I wanted. Microapplication is truly a bunch of a... In the face of piracy, they act like idiots and blind moguls when the only strong argument they have left is customer service. They make no effort and then come crying about piracy.
So I can recommend the same method to you.

Basically, it's Microapplication that forces you into forced sales or piracy.
Personally, I bought some apps from them, but after 2 responses of the same kind over 3 years, even though they eventually got their act together but only under pressure, I no longer buy from them.
Supporting publishers yes, I do it often, but not those publishers who take us for fools and dig their own grave while whining on one side and spitting on you on the other.

So I am still at a standstill and not willing in principle to repurchase the software, even though it poses a problem for me because I have many projects done with this application and thus unusable at the moment.
