Instagram Black Photo

Hi, so I hear everyone talking about Instagram and wanted to try it out, so I installed it.. but now there's a problem, I can see the photos of the people I follow but when I post a photo, it's all black, so I can't figure out how to adjust the colors.. I don’t know what to do, I really wanted to test this app :/
So I wanted to know if anyone had a solution if this has happened to you before?
