Wallpaper that turns black Solved/Closed

Question

Hello, Since yesterday, my wallpaper turns black, meaning the old one is removed and a solid black one takes its place, my desktop icons remain in the same position. I did a scan, it found nothing. What should I do? Thank you in advance.

Did you check by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting personalize? Otherwise, doesn't it say at the bottom "this version of Windows is not genuine" by any chance?

If you have a customized wallpaper, you should have kept the original file in the location where you installed the wallpaper (e.g., My Pictures or Downloads).
What happens if you set a default Windows wallpaper?

In that case, we can't really help you because the procedure to remove this screen without paying, basically, is illegal, and even though I know the trick, CCM has rules about that. Sorry. Unless you buy a legitimate Windows, we can't do anything for you.
