Scrambled Letters

Hello!
When I write a text in any program, my letters get mixed up, overlap, or end up anywhere in the text, without any logic and in any program!!
I constantly have to correct my text and check it with every key I press on the keyboard!!
Thank you for clarifying this for me and giving me a solution!

    Thank you... but no, I have to say that I'm a "Geek" Grandma and I'm self-taught, so maybe not the most expert!!!
    My computer was riddled and infested with viruses!
    A young friend of my son CLEANED it and reinstalled basic programs like Skype, Gmail, Word, Office, etc., very quickly but without explanations (it's no fun for a young person to deal with an old lady who has other things to do!!!)
    Since then, it has distorted all the texts I write with the letters overlapping all the time!!!

      A geeky grandma, that's excellent all of that ;-)
      As a doctor friend of mine used to say, you can have a corn on your foot and a bar-tabac ;-)
      So, before blaming potential viruses or the bad handling of this young one, trying with another keyboard eliminates the hardware failure that can occur at any time.
      It's enough to borrow one for a few minutes. (if it's a laptop, a USB keyboard will do the trick)
      Then, we should check the graphics driver!

      What operating system, brand of the laptop?

      If that doesn’t solve anything, it would be good to start by checking if there are any remaining viruses.
