Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum, I need your help. I just moved into a new apartment, which is wired with RJ45, but nothing is connected in the box (next to the electrical panel).
There is a hub with numbered RJ45 sockets (this must correspond to the sockets I have in the apartment, on the splitter I have 4 RJ45 cables empty and 1 other black one also empty and the 1 blue one connected to the DTI. Another white box, and another connected by 4 cables that are screwed in (FT told me it was the filter...)
I would like to know if the black one should be connected and if the 4 from the splitter should be connected to the hub.
Thank you in advance everyone,

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 8.0

Hello,
it shouldn't be a hub, but rather a patch panel for your wall sockets.

like this
the screwed sockets should not be the filter, but a telephone distributor in principle.
If you're on total unbundling and want your box in one room, you only connect the DTI output to the wall socket you need, you can forget everything else for now.
The ADSL filter (splitter) is useless in total unbundling.

and ... Here you go!

Thank you Brupala for your response,
Indeed your diagram is quite representative, but instead of the filter and the socket T, I have that infamous ADSL splitter and the DTI socket. So
If I understood correctly, I replace the splitter to connect the DTI to the RJ45 of my choice where I will plug in the box?
Thanks again and have a good day Brupala.
