Remote control app

misskitty38 -

Good evening, I broke my Changhong remote control for the model LED29A6500H.
A friend told me that remote control apps exist, but I can't find anything that works. If anyone knows the name of an app that works, or if you know of any universal remote brands compatible with this brand, please let me know.
Have a good evening, everyone.

Do you think there's an app on Android to replace this remote control? Like a LG or Samsung remote that would work with this TV?

Il faudrait juste connaître la fréquence que renvoie la télécommande originale et trouver une autre télécommande qui a la même fréquence.

Thank you, that's kind. I have been searching for a solution for a month and I haven't found anything. If there is a compatible frequency with this brand, that would be great.

The Gmote app isn't great. You have to install it on the computer then on the phone... anyway, it's a complicated thing for me. Thanks anyway.

So with gmote I can control my TV on my PC? Because the app you found for me is paid and I have no way to pay online.

No, I've already looked at everything. I do have a universal remote Homday 226828, but the brand of my TV isn't listed, which is why I'm also looking for a brand similar to Changhong.

It's a Chinese brand that's not well-known at all, for my next TV I'll choose a more well-known brand so goodbye to the problems lol.
