Hello,
I want to warn people about the risks of subscribing to NOVAFILE. Why?
- If you take a premium account, NOVAFILE AUTOMATICALLY renews your subscription when it expires!
(To cancel: "To cancel your premium account renewal subscription you also need to contact our support team. Please send your request to support@novafile.com with Subject 'Cancel Subscription' - FAQ on the site)
- Downloading is limited (contrary to what is stated on their site): 20GB every 3 days!
- Traffic is counted not when you have downloaded but simply when generating the links!
All of this is illegal, not stated anywhere, and it is therefore very serious under the law. By the way, who can we contact to report these mafia-like practices?
Below is NOVAFILE's response where they confirm everything that has been said previously. It should be noted that I had to reach out twice for them to finally cancel the automatic renewal of my subscription.
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Novafile customer support.
I have reset your account downloads limit so you can start downloading but please be advised that I can do it only once.
Please be advised that we have a 20GB limit of downloads per each period of continuous 3 days (72 hours). This limit was applied to provide the best service and download speed to all our premium customers.
So this is NOT a limit left until the end of your subscription period.
The amount of traffic for withdrawal is being generated after you click the 'Create download link' button.
I would recommend you do not click this button on the files which you are not going to download.
Thank you again for using our service, I hope you will enjoy it.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions."

To file a complaint, you will need to go to the courts of Hong Kong, the site is under Chinese law..

I’m going to send an email to "Que choisir" (or Test-Achats in Belgium) and other consumer protection associations just in case, even though I don't have high hopes.
Don't believe in miracles, it's already not easy in your own country, abroad, and even more so in China it's impossible. Don't waste your time and move on to something else.
One day we have to realize that on the Internet it's a money war, even more than in real life, and that people are not nice teddy bears. Every business organization is there to make money, nothing else.
