Hello,
I subscribed to the Bbox Sensation fiber offer from Bouygues Telecom on Saturday, November 15, 2014.
I received the box this afternoon with all the necessary cabling for its installation.
Having moved into my new apartment last Sunday, I have several questions regarding the connectivity/boxes already installed there.
Additionally, my questions will also concern the connections of the fiber Bbox to these mysterious boxes.
1) In the first photo, we can see a socket with 2 ports for coaxial cables. I imagine that the box on the left is a box for fiber? The Orange box is connected via optical fiber. Could someone explain in a bit more detail the role of these 2 boxes?
2) I have plugged the Bbox into the power supply and connected the Orange box to the Bbox via Ethernet socket.
After a few minutes of waiting, I obtain what you can see in the second photo. Is this normal?
Is it possible to make the connections and possibly have TV + internet before the technician's visit at the end of next week?
Best regards.

Hi,
the Bbox cannot connect to the fiber livebox.
The Bbox will normally be connected to the wall antenna sockets.

and ... There you go!

Alright, however, I'll need to buy a coaxial socket because the one currently in place is in poor condition. My adapter doesn't even fit into it. I think it should be available in hardware stores.
Do I need to turn off the electricity in the room to make the change?

Hello
the connection of the bbox with the coaxial cable is the same as the antenna cable and the source of this cable comes directly from the fiber box located outside the house fixed to a pole or in a technical closet in a building
so there's no need to connect it to the orange box or a telephone socket
