Hello everyone,
I need information from people addicted to video games (myself being terrible in this area^^).
Anyway, a long time ago I had the strategy game Pharaoh on PC that I LOVED!!!!! Today the CD-ROM is scratched and even gives me a virus.
I wanted to know if this game still exists? Maybe there’s even a new version? Or is there another very similar game available?
Thank you in advance to everyone,
I am eagerly awaiting your replies so I can make my list for Santa!^^ ;)
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 38.0.2125.111

Hello,
You can legally and freely download the game archive here: https://abandonware-france.org/ltf_abandon/ltf_jeu.php?id=1827&fic=liens
I had the same issue with Torin's Passage, I found it on abandonware and everything has been working perfectly since ^^
However, I don't quite understand how this could cause a virus for you, that's strange
Finally, after decompressing the archive and installing the game, you might need to run it in 256 colors, so if, when you launch it, it shows you an error, just do the following:
- right-click on the game shortcut
- properties
- compatibility
- Reduced color mode
- in the dropdown menu, select 8 bits, 256 colors
If there is no dropdown menu, you should have an option "Run in 256 color mode," just check that :)
Hoping to have helped you, I wish you a good evening! ^^

The difference between Linux and Windows is that Linux is like a beautiful girl; you have to talk to her, tame her, get to know her, while Windows is like a prostitute: you have to pay and especially protect yourself well.
