Engineering school after a vocational baccalaureate in laboratory quality control?

Good evening,
I am currently in the second year of general high school, but given my results, I plan to go to a vocational high school next year (in the first year) to obtain a professional baccalaureate in quality control laboratory (LCQ).
My question is: after a professional baccalaureate in LCQ, is it possible to attend an engineering school, or is it only reserved for general and technological baccalaureates?
If so, could you explain how to gain access?

    I would be surprised to see a vocational high school diploma in an engineering school, given the theoretical (math) and general (economics, French, etc.) training necessary for this profession. Students from technical institutes already have quite a bit of difficulty keeping up in the first year (especially with the mathematics refresher).
    Then, there are programs that provide a master's level (bac+5) for students from various backgrounds (often paid), but they rarely lead to the title of engineer.
    For your information, the engineering diploma is associated with a technical but also general training (thus including courses on mathematics, languages, economics, etc.) over the three years of the curriculum, which is not the case for bac+5 schools that do not train engineers (e.g., INGESUP for information technology that trains developers, unlike ENSIMAG which trains engineers.... OK, I took extremes...)

    Ah damn.. okay and if I do a technological baccalaureate in STL followed by a DUT or BTS to then go to an engineering school, would that be better?

    After a DUT, there are pathways to engineering schools; after a BTS, I don't think so, or it's quite (very) rare (3 or 4 DUT in a class of 100 in my school, 0 from BTS). This seems consistent with the elements I presented (in DUT, there is University... in BTS...).
    One should not forget that engineering schools have a strong selection process for admission (exams), especially for the best candidates; then there are schools that do not grant the title of engineer or where access is easier, though the training is not necessarily of lower quality (but it requires sorting), but... it's several thousand euros per year.

      Are engineering schools paid? :O Can you explain the difference between a BTS and a DUT, please?

      The best engineering schools are public, and the fees are similar to those of the university (about the same).
      There are also private paid schools (around 5000 euros per year).
      Between BTS and DUT.....ONISEP (not in the mood to copy/paste) but you can guess that there is also a difference between a general BAC and a pro BAC.
      The BTS is the long pathway from the bac.
      The DUT is the short pathway from the university.
