Since this morning, numerous threads have been opened regarding the inability of members of this site to connect...
To facilitate tracking, this discussion is open to everyone to follow the topic and be informed if a solution is found

For everyone who has a problem with Jecontacte, the dissatisfied have grouped together at datingwebsites.fr/ then> in Popular dating sites then> Jecontacte (I don't know if we're allowed to post a link here)
If so, I'll come back to post it in full, but you should all be able to find it easily
There are 298 rather negative reviews, not counting the responses to the reviews (number framed next to the title of the reactions)
As for the day of November 8, 2014, the site was under maintenance for transformation from about 8:30 AM to 6 PM, with no notification or apology from the site, except 10 minutes before it resumed normal operations.
The registration conditions have been modified:
- a code provided and to be re-entered (captcha)
- a valid email address to be confirmed with a one-click link sent to it.
- the friends feature has disappeared
- the photo vote and profile vote features have also disappeared
The forum has been gone for about 2 months now and you are REQUIRED to have at least ONE PHOTO to communicate with other members
WARNING the code only appears if you disable (for registration) Adblock if you have it installed.
There you go, enjoy surfing this silent and disrespectful site, as the site manager NEVER responds to you, no matter what your problem is.

To Boubaléo: I have the same problem, no access to my profile. Trying to access it through the internet address you just mentioned leads me to the login page, where I am unknown... In short, we're going in circles.
It's hard to complain since it's a free site. In any case, there doesn't seem to be any contact information outside of the site itself.

If you have typed your username into this link, for example if your username is Peter https://www.jecontacte.com/profil/peter and you can't find your profile, there is a good chance that you have been deleted.
You can also check Google's cache, it will help you recreate your profile.
In Google, type your username and add Jecontacte.
For example, with the username Peter, you type Peter Jecontacte and in the corresponding response, you click on the small arrow (dropdown menu) and choose "cache" to find your profile without the photos.
As for complaining, I don't share your opinion; just because the site is free doesn't mean that users don't deserve a justified warning. Moreover, every site should have an email address to contact the administrator, if only for a technical problem.

I have exactly the same problem for the past two days... Profile deleted for no reason, I am really upset because I am losing messages and profile names that I wanted to keep. It happened to me some time ago, and I never managed to recover my account. Moreover, I can't contact a moderator or recreate an account with the same username and email address because it says "username or address already in use"! It's really frustrating...

I didn't stay long on this site because I had the same problem just days after my registration.
I managed to reconnect by going into my history and deleting all traces of my presence on this site and clicking on "delete password" still in history.
Then you need to create a new account with a new password.
Good luck.

The site had removed the forum without notifying the registered users, the votes for profiles were removed recently, and there have been many changes in the past few weeks! The site no longer accepted profiles without photos and deleted them at will. I saw my profile deleted twice for no reason!!

Hello, I have the same issue. What's shocking is not receiving an email explaining the reason or any contact to reach out to (lol) thanks "I contact".

Like many, I'm in deep trouble, unable to log into my account on "Jecontacte.com" this morning. So, to: Jecontacte, you better sort it out, get everything back to how it was and everything will be fine for everyone, otherwise it's Warrrrrrrr! My username on Jecontacte is: ***. So hurry up! I tried to create a new profile: IMPOSSIBLE. I used CCleaner, Glary Utilities, and Malwarebytes to clean up and restarted my computer, still the same. As soon as I re-enter: www.jecontacte.com in my Google bar, it's the name of my old username that shows up, but it's no longer recognized by "Jecontacte." I noted one thing: there were around 62,000 subscribers or registered users, and now there are only about 45,000 left. That's all I could note. KISSES. Hello, do you know if the site is indeed closed? I signed up three days ago with a complete profile and a photo. I received a confirmation email that I activated, and at that moment the profile was working, but the photo was pending validation, so the profile wasn't active for chatting with other members. The next day, nothing worked anymore; my username and password are well saved, I retyped them just in case, and nothing happens. It tells me that this username/email or password is invalid... I would at least like to delete my profile if the site is having these kinds of problems. For my first experience on this type of site, I am quite disgusted :/ When I try to re-register, it says the profile already exists, and I can't even change the password because it says the email or username is incorrect. What a hassle this site is!

Hello to you. Yes, I find it very strange to get kicked off this site without any warning. It's already not easy to find a simple connection with a member, and when it works, they throw you away like trash. Moreover, I'm visible on Google now, I didn't ask for that! I signed up on this site a few years ago (2 or 3 years), I exchanged a few messages with (supposedly) members and then out of the blue BASTA... "unable to connect" my email address + password + username haven't changed but are no longer recognized??? Strange, right?
At the beginning of August, I re-signed up but with a new email address and well "HERE WE GO AGAIN" a few messages exchanged and then no more connection??? However, my username is still there??? I sent 2 emails to "jecontacte.com" but they remain unanswered because the address is not valid??? Still strange, right?
