I have a Ricoh SP C420DN Aficio. I want to know how to make it work without going through customer service. I have the error code SC542.

    Problem with the melting unit (oven)

    - either the lamp is dead
    - or the temperature control thermistors are dead
    - or the oven control board is dead
    - or you have a bad connection with the oven unit

    On YouTube you will find a video explaining how to disassemble the oven unit to check the connections.
