Connect a Samsung S3 to the computer

Hello, I would like to connect my Samsung S3 smartphone to my computer running Windows 7 Home. I entered "Samsung Kies3" which would be a dialog box (!) It just doesn’t work. The following message appears: the selected connection mode is not supported by Samsung Kies 3! Change the connection mode and choose Media device (MTP) before connecting? Thanks to everyone who will help, I am 73 years old and not very skilled with all these maneuvers. Grandpa

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 32.0

    Hi Grandpa',

    On your S3, in Settings (the gear), go to the 'Storage' option. If you don’t have the requested options (MTP and others), press the Menu button on your S3 (the one connected via USB to your computer). From there you should have access to the different USB connection modes (MTP, and others).
