Hello,

I received my iPhone 6 64GB yesterday.
At first, everything worked very well, and then suddenly, I don't know for what reason, but my iPhone stopped responding on the right side of the phone.
However, when I use the iPhone in horizontal position, the entire screen works, even the part that wasn't working...
Sometimes also, when I want to tap a key on the keyboard (like delete for instance), it gets misaligned and ends up showing the M or the P. And this bug only happens on the right side of the iPhone...

Has anyone else had the same problem?
Do you think it's more about iOS 8 or the iPhone 6 itself?

Hello,

I had the same problem.
Resolved with a hard reset: press and hold the home button + Power until the apple appears.

I have the same issue with mine, even though it's brand new. At first, I thought it was because of the protective film, but actually no, I have no idea and it's really annoying.

In the end, I contacted Apple via chat. And it seems to be the phone that has the problem.

I will receive a new iPhone in 2 days and I have 10 days to return my defective one! So that's perfect =)

Indeed, Apple is pricey, but the customer service is impeccable! ;)

  It's true that Apple customer service is efficient. A few weeks ago, before getting my iPhone 6, I brought my iPhone 5 to the Apple Store (iPhone provided by my phone operator in September 2012). My Power button was no longer working, they lent me an iPhone 5 (without a deposit) and the repair was covered by Apple (free because the defect is recognized by Apple). My iPhone was returned to me after 7 days.

  I had two iPhone 6 that were acting up, and the second time they told me the phone was bent!? Just a photo with barely a millimeter, and they refused to honor my warranty for a product that expensive which malfunctions after a few months. They told me it would be 268 euros plus tax to make it compliant with iPhone standards. I think, in the end, Apple is a declining product! In my opinion, considering that this product is declining, I believe that bugs will become common and that eventually the customer service will fail, just like it did for me. And after paying ridiculous amounts for a phone that doesn't even last a year, with their claim that it is slightly bent or whatever, they have an easy excuse—you can't prove that it was in perfect condition, 40 minutes of useless words or my team leader saying it's impossible for him to arrange the phone, I have to pay, even though the phone was like new but just defective!!!

Hello,
I have the same issue with my iPhone 6+
The screen freezes, the touch is blocked. Sometimes it unfreezes after a few minutes, sometimes days.
When it starts working again, it feels sluggish because the movement is slow (I still have plenty of space on it, so it's not full)
When it works, it works perfectly
The "home button + side button" trick doesn't work; it stays frozen.
I have the impression that it's more related to iOS, so it's annoying to think about paying for a diagnosis

Are there people in the same situation as me?

  The touchscreen doesn't work, but when I put it in the refrigerator to cool down a bit, it works for 1 or 2 minutes and then stops again...

  after contacting Apple customer service, I tried to reset it twice without success. I have an appointment at an Apple Store. I plan to invoke the legal warranty, which is 2 years for non-conformity or hidden defects (https://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/docs/France_Statutory_Warranty.pdf). It’s not normal given the price of the phone and my usage (the phone hasn't dropped, I am very careful) that it stopped working after just over a year.
  My wife has an iPhone 4s that used to be mine and it still works very well (except for the battery) after more than 4-5 years.

Hello, I also have an iPhone 6 in transit 16GB and it often does that, but for me it's the opposite; it doesn't work when I lay it horizontally. A quick DFU (power + home button) and off it goes!
