Hello,
My laptop shuts down by itself when the battery reaches approximately 50%. However, there is no overheating. Nevertheless, when it's plugged into the mains, there are no issues. It's been a week now that this has been happening, and I really don't understand where the problem comes from! My battery doesn't seem worn out...
Please help me.
Thank you in advance.

Well, you don't need to look any further; your battery is reaching the end of its life, and some cells are damaged and no longer charge, except for those that are still intact.
So, you have a partial charge and short battery life that will also decrease until you can only use the laptop on mains power.

PS. Often create a restore point! It solves quite a few problems.

my PC also shuts down at 50% even though I just recently changed my battery. Is this normal?
