Remove the freeplugs

Question

Hello,

I am currently using two TV boxes, a standard box in the living room and a crystal box for the upstairs.
Since the electrical network is quite poor (the powerline has a speed of less than 12 Mbps), I wired the upstairs and connected the two boxes via RJ45 cables.

As a result, I only use the powerline boxes for electrical supply and given how the three boxes are positioned and the area where I live, all this generates a lot of heat.

I would like to remove these powerline boxes and use simple power supplies for the three devices (Freebox and two TV boxes), but Free tells me they have nothing to offer.

Do you have any suggestions?

the freeplugs are used as power supplies and PLC.

To remove them, it is necessary to find transformers with the same characteristics.
They might overheat as well..

If I understand correctly, you want to power your boxes without your powerline adapters? But your powerline adapters are not only used for power supply; they also serve for your RJ45 to access the internet for your TV?

Well no, actually
As I was explaining (maybe not very well), I unplugged the RJ45 cables going from the powerline adapters to the TV boxes and instead plugged in RJ45 cables that go directly to the Freebox (large cables that run through the ceiling or along the baseboards) without going through the powerline.
Now it works really well for the TV but I still have to keep this adapter because it is used to power the equipment.

Direct wiring is much more stable and faster when your electrical system is old and the powerline doesn't work very well.
For it to work well, there must be zero faults in the electrical installation and a minimum speed of 40 Mbps, which was not my case.
If the installation is old, or if there are too many outlets on the same circuit breaker, with several devices plugged into these outlets, it significantly reduces the speed passing through the electrical wiring and your TV doesn't have enough bandwidth to function properly.

I don't know what is important, the voltage or the amperage? Or both?
Surely both, but could there be a variation? Even a small one? In which direction?
Because I'm not sure I can find exactly the same specifications, but I think I should be able to play with a few milliamperes more or less as long as the voltage is right?
That's my problem.

I will indeed look for these transformers, but I haven't found that information on the cases.
Moreover, regarding heating, it's possible, but I would choose longer cables than the small piece of cable that currently goes from the freeplug to the case, which would allow me to place them a bit away from the cases.

For your information, you indeed need 12 V but a minimum of 3 A for the transformers, regarding the V6.
