Hello everyone,

My question may seem a bit silly, but since pointing the satellite dish for SKYDSL is tricky, I need to reassure myself!
The software tells me to point at 144°, which is fine, as North is 0, that makes sense!
Now, it says on https://www.lyngsat.com/europe.html that Eurobird 3 is at 33.0°E.

In this case, will my 0 reference point be South or East?

Thank you
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello

The magnetic 0 (north compass) is your reference!

Therefore, you need to point to 144° magnetic (so "almost" south = 180)

Be precise in your pointing as well as in elevation (around 30°) / vertical

The Eurobird 3 information is at 33.0°E. It is a satellite positioning information (towards Eastern Europe) and has nothing to do with your satellite dish adjustment

    Good luck
