Hello,

I wish to sell my MacBook Pro and after doing some research, I've seen that the McPrice website, which is that of a Parisian shop (see the site), is offering to buy this model of MacBook Pro for €750 (here).

I wanted to know if you have ever ordered from this site or if you have ever taken advantage of this buyback offer and especially, your feedback on the experience.
Thank you in advance for your opinions.

Configuration: MacBook Pro 13" unibody mid 2012 OS 10.9

    Hi,

Did you check http://www.mac2sell.net/adblock.php to see its estimated value?

But not for what you understand! Am I normal?

I don't know the McPrice site (currently closed), I was confusing it with Price Minister ;-)

    Hi,

I ordered a used Macbook Air a year ago on www.mcprice.fr.
I was delivered on time, and the equipment was fine.

As for the return services, I've never needed them!!!
I've had a Mac for a year!! lol

The simplest way to answer your question is to bring your computer to the store?

Thank you for your reply, but living in Chambéry, Paris is a bit far just to stop by the store... ^^

So call them starting from September 1st because they are closed for annual vacation.

Yes, I know, I will wait and see when I have time (I'm going into preparation next year, the weeks will be busy...)

      Good evening,

I don’t know if the site is reliable,
But in any case, their prices for refurbished items are significantly higher than on the "Apple Store refurbished products", and this for equipment with lower specs... so they must be able to buy back at a good price :)

I just did a comparison right now for an iMac i5 21.5"..
For 100 euros less, on the Apple Store refurbished products, vs MCPrice

We have a 1TB drive instead of 500GB,
8GB of RAM instead of 4,
      a 2.7 GHz processor instead of 2.5...

    Hello Giac,
I've already dealt with the services of McPrice (store on Poincarré Avenue) and I was very satisfied. They retrieved data from my 13" MacBook Pro which had a dead hard drive due to a shock. Hard drive replacement + data recovery, €249 done in less than 24 hours. So yes, it's a bit pricey compared to Apple Store which charges €179 but is not specialized in data recovery. So McPrice provides a very interesting additional service (they recovered the text of my thesis: 200 written pages that I had lost due to the shock!)
Moreover, I bought accessories from them to protect my computer (from shocks!).
From my point of view, each offer should be considered based on one's needs; at McPrice I didn’t have to make an appointment, and their responsiveness is top-notch.
