Hello,

I’m new to this site and I would like to know if you could help me because my PS3 only has 12GB, so it doesn’t have enough space for all the games. I installed a 500GB hard drive in the PS3 and it asks me if I want to use it; I check YES. Then it tells me that I have to overwrite the data on the disk to put the ones from the Play on it; I check YES, then there's a loading process, and after 38% it displays: An error occurred during copying. (8001000B)

    Hello, if I understood correctly, you removed the 12GB hard drive to replace it with a 500GB one? Internal? At that point, you need to install the system update using a USB stick. Is that what you did?
