YouTube connection issues

Hello everyone,
Since yesterday I've been having trouble connecting to YouTube. After a bug, I found myself logged out. So I went back to YouTube and clicked on the "Sign in" button.
That's when I saw this message: "An error occurred while trying to sign in to YouTube. Access the troubleshooting tool here." I followed all the tips from the troubleshooting tool to no avail. I am connected to Google+ with no issues, but it's definitely YouTube that's giving me trouble.
I tried logging in on a friend's computer and encountered the same problem.
I use Google Chrome for your information.

    Hi,
    Try logging in with another account to see if the problem comes from YouTube or your main account.
    YouTube has been glitching quite a bit lately; I wouldn't be surprised if it's them who are having issues...

      If the problem persists, contact the... but generally it resolves itself.
