PS4 issue on computer screen Solved

Question

Hello, I have a computer monitor (model: SAMSUNG 931bw) and a PS4. Since I would prefer to play in my bedroom, I bought an HDMI/DVI cable to play on my monitor. However, once the PS4 is connected, I turn on the monitor and it displays an error message: "Non-optimal mode, Recommended mode: 1440x900 60 Hz" Yet, when I connect the monitor to my PC with the same cable, there is no problem at all. I'm confused, is there anyone who can help me? (Because spending €30 on a useless cable hurts a bit ...) Thanks in advance ;)

The PS4 may not be able to adapt to this resolution, send an email to Sony support. They will help you better than I can on this issue.   here  Google Chrome, Intel, Nvidia, and Windows! Nothing else! I will never change a winning team, even if I get a bit (a lot) ripped off! lol

I received a response from SONY: "Hello Thank you for your interest in PlayStation and its products. Your PC and the PS4 do not support the same resolution, this is not a fault of the cable. Therefore, we recommend changing the screen resolution to 1440x900 60hz. You will find the steps to solve this minor problem in your screen's manual. For any other questions, we invite you to contact us at 01 70 70 07 78 Best regards PlayStation Support " Despite all my attempts, I am unable to change the screen resolution while the PS4 is connected.

I only see one thing: The Playstation 4 does not support your screen's resolution. It's a fairly common resolution, but "bastard," it doesn't fit into the standards, it seems. -- Google Chrome, Intel, Nvidia, and Windows! Nothing else!
