Filezilla: Access folder issue

Hello everyone,
Despite all the tutorials I've followed on the subject of FileZilla, I still can't use the service with a remote computer.
No problem establishing a local server, of course.
The fact is that I can connect to the server with another computer from a different location, but I don't have access to the folder I specified in FileZilla Server => Edit => Users => Shared Folders.
When I enter my public IP address, my username, and my password in FileZilla, I get the welcome message I wrote, then "Command: USER philippe," but at no point does it say "Status: Directory contents listed successfully."
Why?? Does anyone have an idea?? I should mention that I have a Livebox.
