At the time of registration, the site displays a price of 59.90 CHF for 6 months without specifying that the price is expressed per month.
It’s a scam; the amount is debited all at once, and cancellation is nearly impossible if you don’t have a fax.
The company C-date.ch (Interdata), based in Luxembourg in order to complete the scam and fraud, does not have a phone number. On the internet, you only find the made-up name of a "manager" acting as an alibi to gain some credibility.
When using C-date, a few Eastern European women behind their PCs send you messages to make you believe that the C-date.ch site is functioning wonderfully.
I conducted a test. After more than a week on C-date.ch, I received contact proposals (entirely fictitious) from women supposedly matching my previously entered requirements.
On the C-date.ch site, I had requested a small slim brunette in a region of Switzerland; I received all sorts of things, Eastern European prostitutes posing as purported candidates from Norway, Germany, and France. It’s an expensive "deal."
Convinced that I had been conned on the C-date.ch site, I sent invites to all the girls, uh, I mean all the prostitutes on C-date.ch to invite them for coffee with me the following week.
Not one responded. None seemed to understand my message written in French.
During this test, I posted photos in front of which no woman showed up, strange! A tall dark-haired guy with blue eyes may not be the archetype of the man women are looking for on C-date.ch.... (?)
C-date.ch is truly a scam that must be denounced. I had to cancel my credit card to prevent these crooks from using it again.
In conclusion, on C-date.ch, or C-date.fr, or C-date.com, everything is false. It’s all just a scam and fraud. The only chance you have of making a light encounter is to run into another person just as credulous as you were, and on a misunderstanding....
In this case, one must still face the truth that the candidates are neither Lady Gaga, nor the Pussycat Dolls, and even less Britney Spears, or Anne-Sophie Lapix.

For all the indecisive and those wondering what this dating site is worth, read the following: I signed up on August 8, 2014, after waiting about 10 days to take the plunge. During those ten days, I registered for free as a guest, so to speak, and took advantage of an offer giving me a 3-month entry with a 25% discount. Once on the site as a premium member, I created an attractive profile with 3 photos. Since the day of my registration, I received messages suggesting I write to new members or discover people who might match my criteria. I received on average maybe between 8 and 12 messages a day. Depending on the profiles and their geographical location, I often responded courteously, hinting that I would be open to a meeting. After more than a good fifteen messages, I hadn’t received a single response from anyone. Surprised, I wanted to know if it was my profile that was the issue or if other parameters came into play. I then created a very sexy profile using photos of models found on the internet. Dressed photos but also shirtless with visible six-pack.... To my surprise, after a week, I still hadn’t received any messages. Disappointed to say the least, I deleted all the photos and left my profile without a photo. After 24 hours, I received a message from a "girl" declaring her love for me. I immediately noticed it seemed strange but played along to see how far it would go. I responded by talking about myself and, oh surprise, I received a reply from her that was actually just her first message slightly modified. I had asked her certain questions but, oddly, she didn’t mention them at all... A computer couldn’t have replied in a more cold and terse manner. Already quite disappointed by this bad experience, I was hit with another blow when checking my credit card statement used for the C-date registration: this site did not take into account the promised 25% discount upon registration. I informed them of this by writing to their customer service and received an automated response explaining how to sign up for C-date. A real joke!! I replied asking them to call me immediately on my mobile because I had a serious problem to discuss. One night later, I received a "real" response message for once, asking what the issue was. I explained the discount issue and informed them that I found significant anomalies on their site. They retorted that I must have confused them with another site because they never have the discount policy mentioned earlier. I was shocked and asked them to fully refund the CHF330.- I had invested. They told me it was not possible but that they would suspend the charges on my credit card. At that moment, I almost choked because it seems that despite the subscription taken for 3 months, I had unknowingly committed until February 2015 with periodic charges. Let's just say I demanded that they immediately stop all charges on my card, delete my profile, and erase all data concerning me. I received a confirmation and hope that this nightmare is over.
In summary, this site is a high-level scam, and it must be a computer that manages the messages proposing profiles. I absolutely discourage you from signing up for this site because you will surely waste your time and money.
and PayPal doesn’t want to cancel the payment.
