Hello,
While looking at my bank statement today, I noticed a charge of €0.90 followed by another one of €39.90 from web-assis.com. After searching online, I realized that it was a scam; I even tried to unsubscribe from the site, but of course, my email address isn't recognized. What should I do? Apparently, the charge will be made every month...
Thank you in advance.

If you see that you don't have insurance, try to negotiate "a commercial gesture" with your bank through diplomacy!
Keep me updated :-)

There is no insurance to take out against scams... it's the law that protects us.
Just so you know, I just went through the same thing with web-assis... they are clearly specialists!!!

Hello, I strongly advise you not to listen to their blah blah blah, I guarantee you they say you will be refunded, etc.... etc.... do not expect any refund from them and block your card as soon as possible and therefore no PayPal account, they will continue on your account via another assistance website that has the same telephonic platform (Maghreb or otherwise) the email received is made to convince you of a mistake on your part, I would say there is one or more moles on this site making us believe we have been refunded, so tomorrow I will file a complaint for credit card fraud and request a refund of the 39 euros from my bank, here is what to do, urgently (09/11/2014, 09:12) Hello, do not expect any refund and block your card as soon as possible and therefore no PayPal account, they will continue on your account via another assistance website that has the same telephonic platform (Maghreb or otherwise) the email received is made to convince you of a mistake I am forwarding this message to all internet users, please pass this message on urgently.
not cool!
look at this:
https://www.google.fr/#q=web-assis.com
web-assis.com was registered on 04/22/2014.
basically, it is hiding behind 3 sites with the same IP:
www.hemmingrobeson.com => as of 2014.06.08
hemmingrobeson.com => as of 2014.02.10
jim.ns.cloudflare.com data: 173.245.59.125
rose.ns.cloudflare.com data: 173.245.58.141
server mail: dns.cloudflare.com
all other info can be found here:
https://www.malwareurl.com/ns_listing.php?ip=173.245.59.125
this company is located in the USA:
https://ipdb.at/ip/173.245.59.125
so given what’s happening on the internet, maybe it's time to change the habit of entering your credit card number on any website! (I prefer to pay a little more and buy from Darty for example :P )
anyway;
for the payment, you need to file a complaint at the police station for the sales scam against the site as soon as possible and for the undelivered package (tomorrow for example, even if everything is closed).
on Tuesday, bring the police document to your bank to do 2 things:
- check with your bank to see if you have insurance with your credit card for reimbursement in case of fraudulent charges (in this case, you can recover what was debited from your account)!
- put a hold on any other debits that might come from this same site!
I don't think we installed anything weird on your PC!

Hello Electrician 69
Your analysis of web-assis.com is incorrect:
1) CloudFlare is a CDN, essentially a global cache for websites.
2) The other sites you mentioned are not related to web-assis; they are other sites that use CloudFlare.
3) The geolocation is also incorrect because it is one of CloudFlare's servers, not web-assis's.
I do not question your advice but only the technical analysis. CloudFlare is used by both scam sites and legitimate sites.

Hello, like you I had the same issue with the 0.90 cents deducted from my account for the famous coffee machine. I just called them directly and the lady told me that web-assis does not deliver coffee machines!!!!! The thing is that it's up to us to buy the machine and they reimburse us up to 100 euros! As I told her, their ad is misleading because I ordered the coffee machine and nothing else! Nothing said we had to buy the machine ourselves to be reimbursed afterwards!!!! So in the end, I requested the cancellation of my account and a refund of my 0.90 cents. We'll see in a few days if they refund me or not!
Good evening, in the end I went to my bank and I put a stop to it. What I didn't know is that when you put a stop on it, the bank destroys your bank card and issues you a new one. So no more issues with withdrawals from this site. There is no other solution...
Hello,
Thank you for the feedback, even if it remains bitter!
Did you go see the police or not?
Were you able to get compensated for the fraud?

Hello,
No, I didn't go to the police because my bank told me that even with a complaint, the process would be very long (possibly several months) and that most of the time, it didn't lead to anything. If it had been a very large amount, I would have done it. Fortunately, I realized in time and it's "only 39€"...

What to do if you are a victim of identity theft?
If you are a victim of identity theft regarding your bank account and notice an online payment on your statements that you did not authorize, the law protects you.
You need to report the fraud, for this contact "Info fraud" at 0 811 02 02 17
(Cost of a local call)*.
This is a telephone information and prevention platform set up by the Ministry of the Interior to protect against all types of fraud, particularly online.
The law gives you 13 months (article L133-24 of the monetary and financial code) from the date of the disputed transaction to request a full refund of the incorrectly debited amounts from your bank. You will be reimbursed by your bank. It will then turn to the merchant's bank to recover the amounts in question. In the end, it is the merchant who will bear the cost of the fraud. That is why Certissim intervenes to protect retailers.
In addition to blocking your bank account, it is also advisable, concurrently, to file a complaint against unknown persons for identity theft.

Hello everyone
I think I might be a victim of an unwanted withdrawal on my part.
What makes me think it’s the same organization as yours is the date of the withdrawals: I had a withdrawal of €6.95 on June 27, and another of €19.90 on July 27.
However, your website doesn't ring any bells for me at all.... The description of my withdrawal is:
CREDIT CARD PURCHASE - INTER.NE 27.07.14 €19.90.
Was it the same for you???
Thank you

Hello everyone,
I too have been a "victim" of this site. However, I connected to www.web-assis.com and followed the refund procedure.
I noticed the phone number afterward, I called and a pretty cool woman confirmed that I was indeed refunded... More fear than harm.

Hello,
I fell into the trap of this site. A charge of €0.90 for the shipping fees of a so-called smartphone that I won but did not receive and another one for €39.90.
It's dishonest and outrageous to take advantage of people's goodwill.
I am determined to file a complaint if I do not receive a refund soon.
Best regards

Victim of the same scam; the day after my purchase I called the site and as soon as I mentioned regulation under commercial law, immediate refund confirmed by email.
Hello, I had the same case for a USB key at 0.90 and I called them because I still haven't received anything. They told me that they don't deliver and that it was up to me to buy... I just called my bank to block my credit card and they just told me that they can't, lol. So, I have to take legal action to get something done and I don't even know if that will work... I don't know how to proceed... in any case, false advertising.
Hello, I was really scared too!!! I almost blocked my credit card the very evening I clicked online. Fortunately, I didn't do it before acting wisely:
So I gave my credit card number, and I had a charge of 0.90 cents.
I immediately confirmed my registration on the site to access the link to cancel the contract. I received a confirmation from the site.
I haven't been charged anymore......
Regarding the "offered" product, it works if you think things through!!
For me, it was a phone, refunded up to 130 euros.
I then bought the product at a supermarket (a bit more expensive, but that's not taken into account).
I scanned the invoice that I sent by email to the indicated net address. They are quick and very accessible by phone as well.
I have just been reimbursed through PayPal for the amount of 130 euros.
I may be lucky, but this site is honest to date, and I am therefore satisfied with their service.
Normally this is my first and last intervention on this site, since the issue is resolved.

Attention !!! Even if you have canceled, keep a close eye on your account. I was charged 1 euro for service maintenance. This happens every two months. You need to call edispo.com at 01 70 70 24 31 and request total cancellation and a refund. The operator will send you two confirmation emails for both cases. Quick and efficient, but I continue to monitor my statements!!!!
Hello, this is regarding an electric toothbrush. I just saw the two charges on my account, I called the bank and I will be refunded and they are blocking the next ones.
Good evening, I also fell into the trap, they haven't taken anything from me yet, I just asked to cancel this order.
Hello, I would like to respond to all of you that this is an honest company; they refund the cloud subscription as well as the product. I am very satisfied.
I advise you, my friends, before making a complaint or filing a report, to first call 01 70 70 24 31, and request explanations and a refund for your charges. They handle your request immediately, they do quality work, they are very honest, you just needed to read carefully what was mentioned on their website; they mentioned everything, it's not just clicking to order and then calling them scammers, everything was clearly stated in black and white.
I had exactly the same problem! Coffee maker... and on my bank statement €0.90 and €39!
You absolutely need to block it!
