Blue dots on my screen...

Hello,
For a long time, blue dots have been invading my screen as it heats up.
You should know that it's a laptop, that it's a HP, and that I bought it used.

P.S.: I don't know if this will change anything, but I recently installed Windows 8.1 and replaced it with Windows 7. At first, after installing it, the resolution wasn't very good (on W8.1). But when I saw there were updates to do, I decided to click "Install updates and restart." After 45 updates, the computer finally restarted, the resolution is ten times better than before, but the blue dots have returned since then.
Please help me...

(This is unrelated, but the "Brightness" function was activated afterward, and I can finally use it.)

I took some screenshots:

Configuration: Windows 8.1 / HP Laptop

Hi,
Try connecting your PC to an external monitor. If the blue dots are still present, it's probably your graphics card. Then try updating the drivers... but I'm afraid that might not be enough.
Otherwise, it’s your motherboard that took a hit and is on its way out... it can be replaced, but make sure to calculate your costs carefully. Is it worth it based on the price of your PC?

Thank you for your response,
I had already tried connecting it via HDMI to my Samsung TV before.
The blue spots are still there, but much less noticeable...
By the way, what is a "driver," and a "dale"? Sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable about this...
If you want to see what I see, I'll edit my initial message with one or two screenshots.

A driver is software that allows various peripherals to function on your PC. In your case, the graphics card. The slab is the screen of your PC... basically ^^ To find the drivers (or drivers), we need the complete reference of your laptop ^^

I would like to add a recent discovery of mine: in safe mode, the blue dots disappear... Is that normal?

Yes, that's normal if it's due to a driver or if it's a software issue. Safe mode does not load your graphics driver but the default VGA driver. Update your graphics driver.
