Hello,

I have a Medion AKOYA® E1318T (MD 99330) laptop that I was gifted for my birthday.
See here:

I would like to know if it is possible to replace the SATA hard drive with an SSD to make it faster?

Is that possible?
In short, to boost it?

I’m not sure if this is a 32-bit or 64-bit processor laptop?

Thank you.
Configuration: Linux / Firefox 30.0

    Hello,
I'm asking myself the same question. But on the Medion side, there's no information about mounting the drive, and even less about the UEFI BIOS for booting with a recovery DVD.

    Hello,

Is there no one to answer me?
A friend told me that an SSD hard drive will make it much faster than a SATA hard drive?

    Is that true?

    Thank you.

      Hello,
no problem installing an SSD, I have the same computer and I've just put in an SSD I recovered from a Mac!
It's running beautifully, it's night and day in terms of performance.
