4-Wire Telephone Jack Solved

Question

Hello,

While cleaning, I accidentally removed a wire from the T-phone socket (the box is currently open). The colors of these wires are: Yellow, Red, White, Blue. I've seen diagrams and the White wire is connected in the right place (3).
But I don't know what to do with the other wires.

I'm using Freebox Revolution and for now, the box shows number 2.

Hello,

If you only have one disconnected cable, it should go in position 1 since you say you have a cable connected in 3.

Only positions 1 and 3 are used for phone (and ADSL) connection.

I was able to reconnect the wires correctly thanks to your diagram. Indeed, you need to put 2 wires in positions 1 and 3.
I connected the yellow cable in position 1. I went back to the other end of the wires towards another box, and I saw that there were 2 white cables. The white wire was connected to one of the two. Also, the red wire was connected as well. I unplugged the red and replaced it with the yellow wire. Immediately, it worked.
