Hello,
I work for an advertising company and I am doing an alternating internship for 2 years.
Today, I was asked to do a mail merge, so I created the file with addresses, balances, company names, etc.
The problem is this: I would like the balances in my Word mail merge file to show only 2 digits after the decimal point. However, 13 digits appear after the decimal point, while in my Excel file the balances are formatted to 2 digits after the decimal point.
I have searched quite a bit but haven't found a solution...
Does anyone know what to do to ensure that there are only 2 digits after the decimal point?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.

For those who have the same problem, I’m providing the solution!
Right-click on the field name, then select "toggle field codes".
A formula will then appear between {} of the type {MERGEFIELD field_name_in_question}. You just need to add \##,## after the field name. This gives: {MERGEFIELD field_name_in_question\##,##?}.
Then right-click again, toggle field codes, and there you go! The number now has only 2 decimal places!
