Hello,
I have a Packard Bell IX9176I with Windows XP.
This PC was equipped with a Pioneer DVR-103BA burner, which I used with PRASSI PRIMO DVD 2.0 to burn my CDs and DVDs.
I replaced this burner, which was no longer working, with a SAMSUNG SH-S182D.
When I launch PRASSI PRIMO DVD 2.0, I get the following response: "No compatible burner was found on this computer."
What should I do to get PRASSI PRIMO to recognize this burner?

Thank you in advance for any answers you can provide.

(PRASSI PRIMO DVD 2.0 is a good burning software and I do not want to replace it).
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Thank you.
I did indeed try with Windows Media Player which recognizes the burner.
But I much prefer Prassi Primo DVD and it annoys me that it doesn't recognize the new drive.

        Hello,

        I had an inkling...
However, I don't know where to turn to possibly purchase the license.
        Would you have the information?
If so, thank you in advance.

try another software to see (the Windows burning software, for example) because I think the version of the software you have is limited and only works with the original burner, this is even more certain if you obtained the software with your burner and did not buy it separately.
