    What for?

    If you simply want to receive calls on your PC, install a SIP client.

    Hi Laurent. Actually I’d like to use it as a reportophone, i.e., to call and record the conversation or interview with the person online, for purely professional reasons. Please shed a bit more light. Also, how to install a SIP client? THANKS.

    X-lite allows you, for example, to record conversations.
    To use a SIP client (VOIP) you must ask your internet provider whether it is possible to use SIP.
    Personally, I know that with SFR and Free it is not a problem, I use their line with Asterisk.
