Since this morning, my computer opens to the ami.com page and gives me commands in English. By pressing F1 I leave this site, and in order to try to use my home page with Google I have to adjust the date and time. But I can't find anything anymore...
How can I get me out of this mess?
Thank you

Scan with these three, you should be easily rid of it :-) -
Thank you a thousand times. It’s great. I didn’t understand everything on the first site, I moved on to the third and everything worked fine. At the final click I immediately found the usual configuration again. They found 8 malware on me. I still have 2 less serious problems:
1 - I found the start iminent that I manage to hide, but it reappears always.
2 - And I can’t open the Internet Explorer page anymore that I blocked with an indelible address: http://internet%20explorer
If you have an answer as effective as the previous one, I would be delighted. But it’s less urgent.
Thanks again for this rescue.-
Just download the software from the first link, without necessarily checking the steps.. run/scan it.. check off everything it finds and basically delete it, it will restart the computer and there you go,
Did you pass the 2nd one?
For StartImminent, go to installed programs, if it’s listed uninstall it manually, otherwise also check the browser extensions... (you mention Internet Explorer, is that what you’re using so? I’d suggest changing it, afterwards it’s my opinion.. Chrome or Firefox depending on your preferences, faster and easier to enable Adblock (pub block)..)
Normally the software from the first link resets the default settings, so StartImminent should go away..

There you go, I’ve gone through the 3 links, in order 3 1 2
I’m using Mozilla Firefox, but when I was looking for where Imminent was hiding I also found it in Internet Explorer. It’s still there. I uninstalled Imminent a long time ago from the System(C) programs list and now I think I’m going to completely uninstall Internet Explorer. Unless you disagree. And if needed, I’ll redo the 3 steps but this time in the correct order.
Thank you again for your help and clarity.
Good evening-
For Internet Explorer, try this:
Launch the browser and press Alt + U at the same time.
Select Internet Options.
Click on the General tab and delete/replace the Homepage. Click OK.
Press Alt + U again, then select Manage Add-ons.
Search for and select Iminent.SearchTheWeb or Search The Web and click Remove.
and tell me what :-)
(order doesn't matter, I put this order because it fit this context, AdwCleaner removes homepage hijackers, adware, etc., and restores browsers; Malwarebytes finds viruses more broadly, and anti-rootkit is more security-focused, it finds hidden processes in the background, just in case..)
With Firefox, go here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
And click "Download Now"; it will install an ad blocker, very effective ^^

Good evening,
Click on the gear icon, Internet options, the homepage that won't disappear, and by chance click on "use a new tab," and at that moment the homepage can be deleted and replaced by Google. The favorites pane appears with Imminent (Iminent) at the top. Before deleting it, I retrieve its URL. Now if I wanted to use Internet Explorer, everything would be fine. I don't know if the URL can help to go to the source of Iminent to delete it.
Thank you again, and I have learned a lot, including how to navigate the web more effectively.
