Hello everyone,

I would like to create checkboxes in Word 2007. I managed to create them (Developer tab -> Legacy Tools -> Checkbox).
However, the checkboxes have a gray background and I can't change this gray background to white.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

    Hello,

I just tried, but the backcolor window never appears.

But I found it, you need to do:
developer -> Legacy Tools -> Show Field Shading (it's a small logo with an "a").

but the backcolor window never appears.
It's a section of the properties window.

The section didn't exist either. There were just the sections "checkbox size," "default value," "run the macro," and "field settings."
It may be related to the version I have.

    Hello,

    You activate the creation mode
You select your objects: right click => properties
In the backcolor window, you select what you want.
