Hello, I'm writing this message using the on-screen keyboard...

My Logitech K740 Illuminated Keyboard is no longer working, neither in Windows Explorer nor on the web, and not even in safe mode!! The only thing that proves to me that it’s not dead is that it works perfectly in the BIOS, and that the function keys (FN) work perfectly all the time...

I've tried everything—uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, changing USB ports, complete Bit Defender scans, but nothing helps.

I must have accidentally locked or disabled all keys except the FN ones, please help me, it's been two days!!

Thank you very much

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Go activate your keyboard in the keyboard features and specifically in the control panel.

Yes, everything is up to date, it was working very well and then all of a sudden, nothing...

Activated? How so? It is recognized normally and there are no issues in the device manager.

Go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Devices and Printers, and check if your keyboard is there. If so, right-click on it and select Keyboard Settings to make sure everything is okay. Otherwise, restart your PC by unplugging your keyboard. Once the PC is back on, plug the keyboard back in TO ANOTHER USB port, and it should reinstall it for you.

I thought I had said everything in the first message. I've tried everything; the drivers have been uninstalled and then automatically reinstalled after changing ports (I've tried them all, 2.0 and 3.0!)

If it was working fine before and suddenly it's not, along with the fact that only the FN keys are working, this should rule out a driver issue. I would lean towards a certain key combination that might be disabling all the normal keys.

In the future, please make sure to read all my messages carefully; I assure you there is nothing worse than typing with an on-screen keyboard, especially if I have to repeat the same thing multiple times.

PS: Everything is fine everywhere, no signs indicate that there is any problem

    Thank you

Have you tried plugging it into another USB port? It might be damaged!

It's not possible to disable the keys, at least I haven't found a way for your keyboard..

Hello. Maybe try an "sfc /scannow"? Regards.

    Good evening
Go to system restore and check if you have restore points.
If so! go back in the calendar before your problem.

Does your keyboard light up when it's connected to your PC?
You should have the user manual for this keyboard if it's new.
If so! Take the time to have a look at it.

No, but I took the time from the first message to explain everything clearly and they keep asking me the same questions!!

Try writing your next posts with the on-screen keyboard, where you have to click on each character with your mouse, you'll quickly understand my annoyance...
