Avast is slowing down my browser.

Hello,
I have an issue with the internet since I updated Avast. In fact, it had expired, so I reinstated it, but it installed a new version with a green circle at the top right of my page, and it's really annoying because everything is slow, and nothing works as I want it to. I didn't have this before, so I guess it's related to that... do you have a solution to remove this thing (the website is on etc) from the internet?

    And as another antivirus, there's Avira which is pretty good :)

      Well, it's not totally Avast that I want to uninstall, but simply the new thing that appears on the internet because I suppose that's what's making my system lag :/

      Several, but mainly Mozilla, and it's on that one that I'm having the issue.. :/
