My color TV in black and white...

Good evening,

I have a TV that was working normally in color without any problems until one day when I was left with only black and white.

However, the volume gauge that appears when I increase or decrease the sound is yellow, so I suppose the problem comes from the signal reception.

Could anyone tell me what exactly might be the issue? Cable, ...
Knowing that I have already tried resetting my television with no result.

What is the brand and model of your TV?
Do you happen to have a "Black and White" mode?

  In your Installation menu, there is an option called "Color Coding" (see page 22 of the manual)
  
  Make sure you are in Automatic mode.

I'm coming into the discussion a bit late, but wouldn't it simply be the color saturation that is set to zero???
Check in the TV MENU on the page where there are the settings for brightness, contrast, color, etc..................

  yes but ................ resetting the channels or restoring to factory settings
  is not the same at all
  and the first menu (channels) is much more prominently highlighted than factory reset!!!

Good evening, if you go through a television modem like Freebox HD (for example), try to replace it with your ISP because that seems to be all that's left...

  Unfortunately, my TV doesn't use it; it's a "standalone" TV with integrated digital terrestrial television, so it’s just connected basic...
  
  Could it be due to a cable issue?

from the TV directly or via another device?

if it's in black/white then the plug is probably not connected properly
to that potential device

  I don't quite understand your question ^^ But my TV is alone (not connected to any device).
  
  I tried unplugging and plugging the plugs back in, but... without results.
  
  I'm not very knowledgeable about TVs, but I think the "round" plug that connects to a socket is faulty. Could that be the issue? (considering that I don't know what it's for x))

  Well, if you're watching your TV through a TNT box or a TV box with your internet package for example
  if that's the case then it could have come from a poorly connected socket
  
  I don't know much about TVs but I think the "round" plug that connects to a socket is faulty, could it be that? (knowing that I don't know what it does x))

  There are only 3 sockets on my TV: one that goes to the PS1 (yes, I'm old school xD), one that is used to turn on the TV, and the 3rd that provides the picture or reception.

I’m taking over from my friend Rossi ;-)

My first question, which may seem silly, is:

When moving the antenna cable connectors, is there any deterioration of the picture or not? Both at the TV input and at the output (reception box).

My second question (equally silly):

Have you tried another coaxial cable (antenna)?

  If I move this cable (I thought about it so it's not stupid hehe), there is no color change, just "visual" crackling x)
  
  I thought about it too, but we don't have one at home, and I wasn't sure until I saw that it might be coming from that. Do you think it could come from that?
