Hello,
I have an issue with the installation of my Sims 3 Seasons pack. I bought it six months ago but have never been able to install it due to a problem with Origin. Now that the issue is resolved, I've been able to install The Sims 3, but for the expansion pack "Seasons," I realized that I no longer have the user booklet that contains the identification code for the disc. Strangely, it didn't ask me for it when installing the base version of The Sims 3, but now if I can't find this booklet somewhere, I will never be able to use my expansion disc... I've seen methods to retrieve a code, but only when the disc is already installed; is it possible to do the same when it hasn't been installed yet? (Logically, I think not, but I'm trying my luck; you never know ;) )
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 27.0

Basically, in your case, either you have registered your game and you can retrieve your serial number on Origin. Or you need to contact EA. -
Hello titgee,
I had the same problem with the same game. And while searching on several sites, I eventually found the solution:
1/ First go to "Start" then to "Run" or "Search" and type "regedit"
2/ The registry editor will then open: Go into the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" folder and then into the "SOFTWARE" subfolder
3/ Then click on "edit" at the top of the page and type "Sims 3"
4/ In the folders on the left, choose the Sims game of the serial code that you want. Click on the small arrow to display the subfolder and a folder "ergc" will appear, and a new page will display. In the "data" box, a series of numbers and letters will appear; that's your serial code!
Write it down so you don't lose it again ;)
