Unable to download open office

Hello, I just bought a new computer to finish my master's thesis. I'm not used to Google Chrome.
The problem is that the only tool I really need, Open Office, I can't download. At the end of the download, a message appears saying that this software is incompatible and that I need to go through the Google Store. However, Open Office is not on the Google Store. What should I do to install Open Office? Thank you!

      Hello

      It's normal, you didn't buy a PC in the traditional sense, but a Chromebook, with ChromeOS on it.

      It's not intended to install things on this OS, everything happens online through web applications.

      Okay, and I can't access Open Office online?
      I think I'm going to have to return this PC; in an emergency, I didn't do much research. I just need a computer for word processing!

      You have services like Framapad or Google Docs for word processing.

      But if you wanted a PC, you indeed have to return it.
