DirectX audio driver error Solved

Question

Hello everyone. I bought the software Virtual DJ, but when I install it and try to start it, the PC shows: error in the DirectX audio driver. What can I do to make it work? Thanks to you and see you soon.

salut les copains, j'ai résolu mon problème avec Virtual DJ, il y avait une erreur dans le driver audio de DirectX, ben DirectX n'a rien à voir, il faut aller dans la config de Virtual DJ et sélectionner précisément la carte son installée sur la bécane et le tour est joué!!! ça marche au poil!!! à plus

Just activate the "WDM" mode in the DJ console software (double click on the DJ icon in the Windows taskbar), I tried it myself and it works now.

I confirm that the "Landaise extractor" method is also valid in case of migration from Vista to Win7.
Indeed, in my case Virtual DJ was installed under Vista: it was fine.

Via the upgrade program to Win7 (for €14.9) from Packard Bell, I upgraded to Seven.
Once Seven was on the desktop, Virtual was still there but displayed an "audio driver directx error" message when launched, the Virtual interface appeared but it was impossible to play a disc on a deck (no movement on the deck, no sound).

I went to the Virtual DJ config menu (top right) / audio config tab, then sound card line, then selected main audio device.

I confirmed my choice with OK, closed Virtual DJ and reopened it.
And it's fine, sound and decks are working again.

However, when I click on Virtual DJ to launch it, it takes 20 seconds to start.

Under Vista, it was less than 5 seconds.
