Hello, I'm looking to uninstall Direct X11 because I've seen that it's causing some issues in my games (it's apparently too powerful for my graphics card...) In any case, I'm looking to uninstall it in order to replace it with Direct X9.c
I've already attempted an unsuccessful uninstallation (which ended with a forced shutdown of the computer because it was displaying "cleaning, please do not turn off the computer" on startup.)
Could you please explain to me how to properly uninstall Direct X11? Thank you in advance :)

Hello,
try this:
DirectX 11 is a graphics technology application created by Microsoft for use with Windows operating systems. DirectX 11 is designed to enhance video game technology. For example, DirectX 11 improves graphical details and creates faster frame rates for games. DirectX 11 is automatically installed by Microsoft and cannot be uninstalled via the "Windows Uninstall or change a program" function. Thankfully, you can uninstall DirectX 11 using the Windows registry editor. Note that the steps outlined apply to Windows Vista and 7. Instructions
1
Click on "Start," right-click on "Computer," and select "Properties." The System Properties window opens.
2
Click on "System Protection" in the left pane of the System Properties window.
3
Click on "C: Drive" under Protection Settings, then click on "Configure."
4
Click on "Disable system protection," then click "OK," and then click "OK." This will prevent Windows from automatically reinstalling DirectX once you restart after uninstalling it.
5
Click on "Start," type "regedit" in the "Search" field, and press "Enter." The registry editor opens.
6
Click on the "Arrow" next to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" in the left pane of the Registry Editor. A list of folders appears.
7
Click on the "Arrow" next to the "Software" folder in the left pane of the Registry Editor. A new list of folders appears.
8
Click on the "Arrow" next to the "Microsoft" folder in the left pane of the Registry Editor. A new list of folders appears.
9
Right-click on the "DirectX" folder and select "Delete."
10
Close the registry editor and restart your computer. Images
